CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2018 Meeting of the
EUROPEAN PUBLIC CHOICE SOCIETY
April 11 – 14, 2018, Rome, Italy
The .2018 Meeting of the European Public Choice Society will take place from April 11 to April 14, 2018, at the campus of the Faculty of Economics of the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth in Rome, Italy. The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions. About 250 researchers from different fields such as economics, political science and other social sciences meet annually to discuss the current issues in all fields of Public Choice.
Submission of Papers
Both empirical and theoretical papers will be considered. Please submit full papers via EasyChair starting from September 15, 2017. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2017. Decisions will be made by January 15, 2018.
The conference will be held at the campus of the Faculty of Economics of the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth in Rome, Italy. The campus is well connected with the city center, the main train stations (Roma Termini, Roma Tiburtina, Roma Ostiense) and the Fiumicino airport via a system of local trains (stop at “Gemelli”; timetables and additional information from the Trenitalia website).

The Wicksell Prize
Each year the EPCS awards the Wicksell Prize, in honor of the Swedish economist Johan Gustaf Knut Wicksell, to the best paper presented at the annual meeting by a “young” researcher. To qualify for the prize, the presenter of the paper as well as all co-authors must be under 30 years of age as of December .31, 2017.
